A French court decided to delay the demolition of Calais migrant camp in the north of France. The government wants to relocate migrants currently living in squalid conditions, but NGOs argue there’s no adequate plan B for their relocation. Does France have a responsibility towards the migrants within its borders? Is the eviction from the migrant camp a permanent solution or simply a band-aid fix?
