The Becoming Adult Team is organising the one day international conference “Constructing viable futures: Unaccompanied migrant young people transitioning to adulthood” on 12 December 2017, at St Antony’s College, University of Oxford.
This event marks the end of our three-year ESRC study exploring the wellbeing outcomes of former unaccompanied minors as they make the transition to adulthood.
Keynote and invited speakers include: Lord Alf Dubs; Professor Roberto G. Gonzales (Harvard); Dr Signe Smith Jervelund (University of Copenhagen), Professor Ilse Derylun (University of Ghent).
Full Conference Programme available here.
It brings together academics, practitioners, policy makers and civil society organisations with young people to present knowledge and insights on this issue and to consider the research, policy and practice implications for this group of young people both in the UK and internationally.
The conference is free and open to the public, but due to limited places booking is required. To book your place please go to the eventbrite link here:
